SCHOOL DISTRICT 49: Falcon School District 49 manages about 14 campuses and a student population of roughly 10,000. Notably, District 49 has a partnership with the Colorado Springs Park and Recreation Department to provide for engaging after-school activities.

•The Pine Creek Golf Course is a premier 18 hole public course. This championship course, which is both physically and mentally demanding, is known as "the player's choice." Winding through the Pine Creek Valley, the course features natural grasslands and wandering creek beds. A variety of trees, lakes, bunkers, and 376 feet of elevation change add to the challenge. Each hole offers breathtaking views of Pikes Peak, the Front Range, and the entire skyline of Colorado Springs.

CLIMATE: The climate in Falcon is generally mild and ideal for year-round outdoor fun. In winter, temperatures are brisk, ranging between the mid-teens and the high 30s. Things warm up gradually throughout the spring, reaching average highs in the 70s and 80s by July and August. Annual precipitation totals about 22 inches with much of this falling in the spring and summer.
